Tour
Welcome to our brand new website! Things may look a little bit different, so we’ve put together a helpful guide to show you where you can find the usual information and some new features.
About
This section provides an overview of who we are and what we believe in. From here you can also learn about the history of the church, as well as view pictures from some recent events at Colchester Baptist Church. And if you want to remind yourself (or find out!) who’s who at CBC, the Meet The Team page is the place to go.
What’s On
It’s always good to know what’s going on at church during the week as well as on Sunday. So we’ve gathered up info on all the key services and events and put them into this one handy area. From here you can find out about our Sunday services, weekly activities and Open Door. You’ll also be notified of any special announcements with a shiny green bar when the time comes.
Groups
This section provides an ‘all-in-one’ place to discover our groups and find one appropriate for you. We run many groups throughout the week at Colchester Baptist Church for all age groups with different activities taking place. You can find out about:
Prayer & bible studies
Lunches & coffee mornings
Baby & toddler activities
Children & youth groups
Recreational activities
Podcast/Sermons
You can listen to previous sermons recorded from our morning and evening services. So in case you ever miss a message, or simply want to listen again, you’ll be able to do so. Download offline to your mobile device or computer. You can also subscribe to the podcast on your mobile device from Apple Podcasts!
Blog
We have articles written on a regular basis from various members of our church family all contributing their ideas on life, faith and everything in between. If you’re a budding writer, member of the church and would like to be featured please contact Rev Terry or Tunde. Kids are welcome, but be sure to get parents’ approval first!
Resources
This is the place to find all the latest documents, featuring information about our church meetings, prayer diaries and other various bits of news. Most of the documents are downloadable in PDF format.
